After winning the international 1.40m jumping competition on Thursday, January 24 th  2019, we caught up with the talented and well-spoken 19 year old young rider, Rowen van de Mheen. Rowen is off to a flying start at Jumping Amsterdam with a clear round on Holsteiner gelding, Q Verdi. He trained as a video interview, and with the Jumping Amsterdam team.

This was not his first time at Jumping Amsterdam. Last year the same combination won the final of the national ZZ class in Amsterdam, but it was his first time competing in the international class. “Today is really well Q Verdi is a fantastic horse He knows what to do When I use the dressage bridle and bit, he knows what we do in the competition he knows what to do. He likes the show and the competition. “

With his eye on the FEI European Young Rider Championships and eventually the Olympics, we can expect that is Rowen van de Mheen and his horse Q Verdi.
