Anemone Horse Trucks from Scherpenzeel and Stoeterij Sterrehof from Nunspeet are once again the title sponsor of the Grand Prix at the Diamond Edition. The âAnemone Horse Trucks Grand Prix of Amsterdam powered by Stoeterij Sterrehofâ is the closing number of the sports program on Saturday evening 26 January in the RAI Amsterdam.
Both Anemone Horse Trucks and Stoeterij Sterrehof are loyal sponsors of Jumping Amsterdam. Since 2012 both companies have connected their names to the Grand Prix, first alternately and since 2016 together. Bert van Kooten, owner and founder of Anemone: âFor many years we have been both a sponsor and partner of the event. It is great to show our horse trucks again this year. Grand Prix
On Saturday evening the international jumping riders will saddle up their best horses for the ‘Anemone Horse Trucks Grand Prix of Amsterdam powered by Stoeterij Sterrehof’. Course designer Louis Konickx will create a challenging and technical jumping course with obstacles of 1.60m. The prize money of this competition has been further increased for the 60-year anniversary: no less than ⬠107,500 will be distributed among the participants.
Winners
In 1958, the very first winner of the Grand Prix of Amsterdam was Harry Wouters van den Ouderweijer with his horse Luetnant and since than the Grand Prix has been won by big names such as Nelson Pessoa (1969/1970), Rob Ehrens (1982/1988), Jos Lansink (1990/1993/1996), Ludger Beerbaum (1994/2000) and Michael Whitaker (2006/2011).
