Reigning European champion and World No. 2, Switzerland’s Martin Fuchs, produced a stunning win with The Sinner in the eighth leg of the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ 2019/2020 Western European League in London (GBR) today.

The tight confines of the gracious Grand Hall at Olympia ensured the first-round track was a big test, and just six of the 37 starters went through to the second-round jump-off against the clock. Second to go, 27-year-old Fuchs took all the risks to set a super-fast target when breaking the beam in 31.99 seconds with his 11-year-old gelding.

And only two others managed to also leave all the poles in place, Austria’s Max Kuhner and his very exciting eight-year-old Elektric Blue P clinching runner-up spot when crossing the line in 33.63 seconds, while Belgium’s Niels Bruynseels and the 10-year-old Delux van T & L slotted into third when stopping the clock on 34.64.
