Jumping Amsterdam is all about equestrian sports. But there is more to the event which is known for the high level of entertainment, within and outside of the arena. The show for Jumping Amsterdam 2022 is not yet confirmed but below you can find an overview of the spectacular, amazing and touching shows that performed in Amsterdam during the last ten years.
Fantastic shows
During Jumping 2009 the London Mounted Metropolitan Police, who are still immense popular at the Olympia Horse Show, made their debut on the European mainland. The Dutch spectators enjoyed the show to the fullest. In 2010 it was Frenchman Jean-Francois Pignon and his white horses who enchanted the public. In 2011 the incredibly fast scurry pony’s showed their skills whilst being loudly cheered by the audience. In 2012 Flying Frenchman Lorenzo performed in RAI Amsterdam daily with his spectacular Action Show. With 10 white horses he gallopped at full speed through the arena. Standing on the backs of his whites, no obstacle was to high. In 2013 Mario Luraschi amazed all present at RAI Amsterdam. The former stuntman was known for teaching numerous horses and acted in famous movies like Bandidas, Black Beauty and Lucky Luke. In 2014 Luma the Lion stole the hearts of the spectators and in 2015 it was Gert van den Hof‘s turn. Gert van den Hof is well-known when it comes to the education of young horses in The Netherlands as well as abroad.
In 2016 there were 2 shows! Santi Serra Camps (Catalonia) fascinated the Amsterdam audience with his sensational interaction between man, horse and dog. In addition, The Horseman Team came into action. These French ‘show jumpers’ showed in a spectacular way that they do not need a horse to conquer the high jumps. Alizée Froment, also from France, gave in 2017 an amazing and enchanting performance and this january the daredevils of Trickriding Team The Future Guys did their breathtaking stunts.
