The biggest applause however is not deserved by the winners, but by Dutch Jeannette Haazen. Accompanied by her husband and trainer Chris she reached the fourth position and 65,125% in Grand Prix. Her competing can be called a miracle. On their way to the first World Cupâ⠢ Qualifier in Odense in November, they had a serious car-accident when hitting a not enlightened not riding car on the road.
After serious surgery and hospitalizing the pair was present again at the sixth World Cup⢠qualifier edition in Amsterdam. Chris is not able to walk properly yet, however he is able to teach and coach his wife. Talking about mentality and perseverance!
